Given Seolwana - is a black female, holding a Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration (BBA), a National Diploma in Business Management and Retail Management. I am the Managing Director at VHG HR and Payroll Consulting and an active member of the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP). Key strengths that I possess for success in my work include being passionate about labour law, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills, a strategic thinker who conforms to high quality standards.

My academic record is backed up by over 15 years' experience in Human Resources, having played active roles in the Organizational redesign transitions and project work for various multinational Companies. My journey in HR started in 2006 when I was trusted with an opportunity to lead the Concor / Murray & Roberts HR Team at the Department of Foreign Affairs Project in Pretoria; and was later seconded to Medupi Power Station project in 2010. I then joined the AVI group (Denny Mushrooms plant) as an HR Officer and served as a Group HR Business Partner for Iliad Africa Trading for over 4 years.

In 2017, I joined the Heineken South Africa-Sedibeng Brewery Team, as an HR Business Partner until October 2017. That is when the VHG HR and Payroll Consulting idea was brought to life, after realising the challenges that SMEs in South Africa were struggling with, in keeping up with the ever changing labour laws and People Management best practices.
